Austin Kiplinger the journalist and publisher has passed away at 97, as released in a statement by his company on Saturday.
W.M. Kiplinger, Austin Kiplinger’s father founded Kiplinger Washington Editors Inc in 1920, which today owns and produces Kiplinger Personal Finance magazine.
After fighting in World War Two in the navy, Kiplinger helped his father launch Kiplinger magazine in 1947, a publication devoted to the everyday personal finances of Americans.
